Carboxy Therapy
Carboxytherapy, also know as Carbon Dioxide Therapy, is the third part of Pacific PureLipo’s body sculpting program. It is a new, simple and proven technique that can dramatically improve the appearance of cellulite by improving local tissue metabolism and perfusion. CO2 gas stimulates blood flow with several results: skin elasticity improvement, cellulite reduction, localized fat reduction and collagen production stimulation. Carboxytherapy is an alternative to liposuction for people who are not willing to go through the procedure. It is also a good addition to PureLipo™ in that it can be used to even out areas or soften areas after the procedure. Carboxy Therapy is safe, relatively painless, and simple to perform. Carboxytherapy has also been proven highly effective for treating stretch marks and scars.
BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical procedure that reduces forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet by relaxing the muscles that cause them. The lines that appear between the brows actually result from muscle movement and the passage of time. Two muscles are largely responsible for frown lines between the brows. When those muscles contract they draw the brows together. As skin becomes less elastic over time, repeated frowning can result in moderate to severe lines between the brows. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein that blocks the chemicals that cause these facial muscles to contract, thereby relaxing them.
This simple, no-downtime treatment takes only about 10-15 minutes. We will administer several tiny injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic directly into the muscles causing the wrinkles. No anesthesia is required. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. You will be in and out of our office without downtime. You will see an improvement within days, and the appearance of the treated areas may continue to improve for up to a week. BOTOX® results are temporary, so we recommend maintenance treatments every three to four months, but results may vary.
Cosmetic Dermal Fillers
Pacific PureLipo offers both Restylane® and JUVÉDERM® dermal fillers for reducing facial folds and wrinkles, and for enhancing lips.
Restylane® is a safe, natural, FDA-approved cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin correcting facial wrinkles and folds. It can also be used to enhance lips. Restylane® is made from a non-animal based form of hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally occurs in your skin. The hyaluronic acid in your skin diminishes over time, increasing the chances for wrinkles and folds to appear. There is no downtime and results are visible immediately. JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel instantly restores your skin’s volume and smoothes facial wrinkles and folds. JUVÉDERM® is a gel made from hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. JUVÉDERM® is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler proven to be safe and effective for all skin types and colors. Results are immediate with little to no downtime and last up to one year.
